Abstract When a physical system evolves in thermal bath kept at constant temperature, it eventually reaches an equilibrium state which properties are independent of the kinetic parameters and precise evolution scenario. This is generically not case for driven out which, on contrary, steady-state with that depend full details dynamics such as driving noise energy dissipation. How steady depends general non-trivial question. Here, we approach this broad problem using minimal model two-dimensional nano-machine, Brownian gyrator, consists trapped particle by fractional Gaussian noises—a family noises long-ranged correlations time characterized anomalous diffusion exponent α . different spatial directions, our gyrator persistently rotates. Even if non-trivial, correlations, thanks to its nature able characterize analytically resulting nonequilibrium computing probability density function, current, curl angular velocity complement study numerical results.

We provide a device, called the local predictor, which extends the idea of the predictable compensator. It is shown that a fBm with the Hurst index greater than 1/2 coincides with its local predictor while fBm with the Hurst index smaller than 1/2 does not admit any local predictor. Fractional Brownian motion and data

We analyze the fractal behavior of the high frequency part of the Fourier spectrum of fBm using multifractal analysis and show that it is not consistent with what is measured on real traac traces. We propose two extensions of fBm which come closer to actual traac traces multifractal properties.
